My mom has sewn masks for our family members to wear if we have to go into the public. She has also dropped off hot meals on all her kids porches, trying to show her commitment to her family and the community by socially distancing

In short, I got called back to work at the beginning of March. My wife is in Montana. I have not seen her in 3 months. I have been servicing Airdrie as a Captain.

My wife has been my hero. We had our second child during this, and has managed a newborn and type 1 diabetic toddler when I am on shift. No idea how she does it!

We are from the Active-Retiree Group in Toronto (3888) We continue to check in on each other and communicate as much information as we can in order to keep our members safe and healthy. Thank you, from the Retired Toronto Fire Fighters Association.
My wife has been a true hero. We had our daughter last June, she has been stuck at home alone with no backup child care, unable to use our parents for babysitting. Her entire life is on hold now while this is all going on, and makes sure every day our daughter is taken care of.
Terry Howe | Sarnia, Ontario
Yes! My wife and daughter deliver food each week through a local org. called Sarnia Blessings.
Delivering food for those in need, less fortunate, and those affected by COVID.
Corey Lott | Regina, Saskatchewan
My wife has spent since March with the kids (ages 5 and 3) while working from home. She has been a HERO working harder than ever. The kids have became even better friends than before.
I appreciate their sacrifices while I go to work.

During COVID our fire family has been hit with some crappy news of two of our member's cancer taking hold in a more aggressive way. This news in the last couple of weeks has added to the stress levels of our entire fire family.

My husband is an RCMP officer and has been working tirelessly for us and his community. He truly is my hero!
